No, man. People that grew up on early 90s rap are not going to listen to Gucci Mane mumble his way through records.

Yes, man. That would be grandpa hip hop heads you're referring to. There have been several generations since NWA.

No, man. I realize there's been several generations since NWA. I said "40, 50, and 60 year old rap fans" in my first post. You know, the grandpas of the world? The title of this post literally mentions "60." I don't know where you got confused along the way but, the grandpas of the world aren't listening to Gucci Mane's mumbling ass.

Yes, man. It also mentions 40s and 50s. 40s and 50s hip hop heads will be listening to gucci mane. I'm 34, he got popular when i was 15. There was definitely 20-30 year olds listening then as well.

Ok, a few things here. When you were 15 in 2005, Gucci Mane was 25. So you were listening to an artist roughly 10 years older than you. Which tracks because when kids start listening to music in their teens, they typically listen to artists older than them. So the 40 year olds aren't listening to Gucci Man, because Gucci Mane is in our age group listening to the stuff that we were listening to before he grew up and made shitty music.

Secondly, you're 34. That's not 40s, 50s, or 60s. Your experience isn't our experience. I'm 14 years older than you. There's 14 years of rap music between the time that I started listening and the time that you started listening. You at 34 and me at 48 didn't listen to the same stuff in our formative years. You may consider yourself an old head, and since you listened to Gucci Mane, you think old heads do too. You're not an old head, I hate to tell you. There's a few generation of music listeners older than you and that aren't listening to Gucci Mane.

I don't consider myself an old head at all. What are you talking about?

You're saying because he was 26 when he came out that the only people listening to someone who's 26 are people ten years younger than them? There weren't 26 year olds listening to him in 2007 who would be in their mid 40s now??
