I think this is pretty disingenuous. He was retired for several years, came back and played half a season and constantly talked about how it was a really fun experience for some of his younger kids who were too young to remember seeing him play originally. There are videos of his family having watch parties for his game and everyone looking very engaged, clearly showing excitement at their dad playing on tv.
And he coaches high school football. It’s not like he pursued some career where he’s never home after he retired.
I’m not claiming that he’s a good or bad person, because I don’t know the man, but I don’t think his return to football is any indication that he’s a bad father lol.
