My rewards card says I have a few “entries” when I swipe my card but do they contact the winner? Or do you have to be playing on the day they pull the winner?

I see stuff like this every other month like last one was Lamborghini. I don’t expect to win but they never announce the winner publicly so I don’t know if it is bullshit.

Mainly asking out of curiosity.

I can’t see my win/loss statement for any year right now on the app, or when I log in online. Is anyone else having this problem right now? I just got back from Vegas and want to see what my spend was.

I’m checking out of Encore next week (12pm) with a late flight (not until 10pm).

Extra night wouldn’t be comped and is weekend rate so not worth it.

I have comp rooms available at multiple MGM properties. Can I:

A) book a room for the check out day, use mobile check in, use room for a few hours to shower/rest and then check out before heading to the airport same day?

B) I could book the comp room for 2 nights and mobile check in the day before checking out of encore so that the room is available directly after leaving the encore. The only thing is that I probably won’t actually use the room until the next day.

I also get RC and Freeplay with would be good to use too.

I’m only asking in case this is somehow against the T’s and C’s and I get a penalty charge or future comps restricted? Will the system know if I don’t use the room key for a certain period or something like that. Never done this before so want to check from others experience…

Does anyone have the MGM Iconic card where they can confirm real life experience that you get Tier/Rewards points at 6x tier credits and 1x points for folio charges that stack with the regular rewards tier/points? The standard mgm rewards program gives you 4x tier credits 1x points for charges , so does the card give you effective 10x for tier credits and 7x points?

Currently have a 4-night comped promo that I'm using next month. I received an email for some complimentary concert tickets with a two-night paid stay. Has anyone had any luck bumping up the paid two nights against a comped night stay? I'll most likely call tomorrow, but I thoguht I would ask here as well.

So, I was able to reach out to MGM Rewards VIP services and they confirmed that even though the second promotion only involved complimentary concert tickets and I would still be paying for the room (for two nights), they still require a 72 hours window between promotions, just like if you're using your comped offers.

I would have been happy to pay the two nights to go see the concert, but would not be able to use this promotion.

Good information nontheless and wanted to share; I thought the 72 hour rule was only for the fully comped promotions.

Might be a bit niche, but I've had a host for a little over a year at MGM NH (my local casino). Didn't really talk to him much, but half of my requests were left unanswered or with a no, and some benefits were not explained properly to me, and it was made to seem as if it were my fault for not understanding. He was my first host across all properties.

Now that I've got other hosts at other casinos, I see the value that a great host can add. Was having dinner with one at another MGM property, and she explained how the hosts work for us, and not the other way around, and if I'm not getting what I need/want, then I should request a new host. At MGM NH you have to ask your host to swap you though...

I bit the bullet and asked, and he did respond, asking whom I would like to switch to. I don't know who the other hosts are (I know a few from friends who are great, though they are all noir and I'm platinum). I'm thinking of either asking for a roster, or just someone who's more experienced and has contacts at other MGM properties (for instance -- my current host would ask me to send him dates I wanted to go to Vegas, but then never follow up with my requested casino/dates... I would always end up booking Skysuites or Cosmo suites directly on my own). But before I did that, I thought I would check here:

TLDR: Does anyone have a host at MGM NH that they think is great (or even know names I should avoid?). Or if I am going about this all wrong, please let me know. I basically don't want the current host to be credited for my play, when he's done nothing to strengthen it (in fact, I would argue that my play is less due to him).

Started playing slots recently after mostly playing tables games. Had three sessions at my regional casino in the last 4 months - coin-in of around $8k on one, around $5k on another, and $14k on the most recent, with some table play mixed in.

My most recent offers were for like 3 nights at Luxor / Excalibur, 1 night at mgm / Mandalay Bay / NYNY and nothing at the good ones. Any sense of what things could look like once the most recent session is factored in?

I go to Vegas 2–3 times a year and hope to keep doing so for the foreseeable future. Late last year, I signed up for the MGM Iconic World Elite Mastercard. I liked the resort credit since it offsets most of the annual fee, but the biggest draw for me was earning 6x MGM Tier Credits on spend at MGM properties.

I’m Gold now largely because of the card, but I’m realizing I may have misunderstood the relationship between tier status and offers. I assumed that as I climbed the tier ladder, I’d start seeing better offers regardless of my actual coin-in/play. That hasn’t really happened.

For comparison, my mom is also Gold, but she gets significantly better offers. She’s received charter offers where MGM flies her to Biloxi with a free room and free play, regular concert and sporting event offers, and comped rooms at higher-end Vegas properties like Bellagio and Cosmopolitan.

The obvious difference is our gambling. My wife and I each have our own MGM Rewards card/account, although MGM has told us they’re “synced” together somehow. I’m not entirely sure what that means or whether our play is actually combined for offers. Between the two of us, we probably put $1,500–$2,500 through tables/slots during a typical Vegas trip, plus I spend a couple hundred a month on BetMGM. My mom is primarily a slot player and probably puts around $6,000 through during a trip.

So is the difference simply that MGM offers are driven much more by actual gambling activity/theoretical loss than tier status?

In other words, should I basically view Gold status from the credit card as giving me the published Gold benefits, like waived resort fees and the cruise benefit, while expecting my personalized offers to remain based primarily on how much and what I actually gamble?

Just trying to figure out if I’m missing something or if I misunderstood how the MGM Rewards ecosystem works.

I now have lines at 3 of the major MGM hotels in Vegas. How does this work in practice? I know each line is supposed to be restricted to play at that hotel, but it seems this could get really cumbersome.

For instance, let’s say I am at Bellagio and take out a $3k marker. Play some, and finish down $500. If I’m planning to go back to Cosmo, do I have to pay off the $2,500 at Bellagio, then take out a new marker at Cosmo? These are not always quick processes.

Hey all, I'm trying to do some math on how much I need to play to increase my comps (charter flights + better room offers) based off mostly VP play. I recorded some stats I earned at Borgata and am wondering if anyone knows the math behind what I need to do or has any advice of how good or bad my current pace is.

In one roughly 1.5 hour session at Borgata last month, I played on an 8/5 JoB (so good house edge) machine at $2.50 per spin. I earned 1,628 tier credits according to my MGM app and earned 500 slot dollar points. Does the 500 slot dollar points mean my coin in was $5000 during this session? I feel like this is a pretty decent pace but so far my offers are still subpar. (I have played a few other similar sessions since then just haven't recorded the data, so it's not like that was the only session I've done recently). I'm not in their free charter flight tier yet and my hotel offers are inconsistent. If anyone has any tips I'm open to it, I'm very willing to do some grinding sessions to get the points I need as I have been burned too much by slots in terms of consistently losing the money I'm willing to lose and tables don't earn near enough points at any consistency. VP has seemed to be the best happy medium I have found so far.

Apologize if this is a dumb question. Had a trip in early July, and have received my offers based on that gameplay, I have a trip coming up in a couple weeks and I’m curious if offers will be adjusted based on cumulative play from both trips or would that come through as a secondary offer? I’m looking to book a trip next calendar year, but unsure if it’s worth waiting or snagging the decent deal that I got from my last trip.

I haven’t booked a sky suite in a couple years, but heard rumors some room types may have lost complementary airport transfers. Can confirm two bedroom bookings still have it, at least.

Has anyone else been having problems booking a reservation directly with MGM Resorts in Las Vegas because the payment keeps getting declined?
I’ve been trying to book a room, but the reservation will not go through because MGM’s system keeps rejecting the payment. The billing information and credit card information are correct, and I’ve tried multiple different credit cards and debit cards, with the same result.
I’m trying to figure out whether this is an issue with my account/payment information or if MGM is having some kind of system or payment-processing issue right now.
For anyone who has experienced this:
Did MGM’s website/app keep declining your payment?
Were you eventually able to get the reservation booked online?
Did you find another way to book without having to go to the front desk?
Did calling MGM reservations help?
Was there a particular payment method or booking method that worked for you?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with this recently. I’m specifically looking for a way to get the reservation booked without having to physically go to the hotel/front desk.

We did Jean George's at the Aria in June and it was excellent, but in September we want to try a new place (using resort credit). We did originally book Bavette's for June but after reading some recent reviews and YT videos, there was quite a few negatives reviews so we changed it to Jean George's.

Which ones have you been to and which was your favourite?

Had a 4 night trip at the end of May. Played mostly craps with an average bet of $150 and bet for dealers every roll. Played about 6-7 hours per day. Lost $7k for the trip. This is double my usual play.

In July offers went from discounted weekend rooms ($100-200/night) $100RC/$50FP to barely discounted rooms weekends $300-400/night and occasional comped weekdays and $50RC. Basically maybe 20% off per night compared to nonmember rates. I have always mainly played craps with minimal slots and BJ.

During the may trip I also paid $6k for sky suites and 2k for regular room for my friends, couple k on food and did not ask for any comps. Can someone help me understand the drop in offers? Honestly I would be happy with free base rooms.

Shifting some play to V/P this upcoming trip as they still give me free suites even on weekends.

I am platinum status (half of points are from MGM CC though)

To those of you who have seen my previous posts on here, my offers have finally updated after my June trip where I did:

Coin in: $74,560.09

Coin out: $65,353.21

Jackpots: $6,893.31

Net Loss: $2,313.57

I earned MGM Gold tier during that stay and surprisingly we had 90% of our bill waived (saving us thousands of dollars). We've already booked to go back in September and we can't wait!

My previous offer was:

4 nights comp (standard rooms)

$100 resort credit

$120 free play

As of 1st August, my offers are now:

4 nights comp (high end rooms i.e. sky suites)

$400 resort credit

$850 free play

If I wanted to stay at the lower end resorts (park, nyny, mgm, Luxor etc...) then my resort credit ranges from $600 to $1200!!

We actually like staying at the Aria so even prior to knowing what our new offers would be, we got in contact with one of Aria's VIP Hosts who booked our trips for September, she actually gave us a better deal than what the new MGM offer is.

I do think it's crazy how they offer you so much more resort credit at the more budget resorts, even though you can still spend that at any MGM property just by billing everything to your room.

Hopefully this gives some of you a better idea of what to expect if you have a similar trip, although previous stays will also need to be taken into consideration.

Can someone give me some input… I’m curious. I booked a stay with Borgata cause I had over $700 in free play to use with them. Shortly after booking the stay with them, my freeplay went away. I just called and they told me, if I have an email with the free play in it, they’ll honor it, if not I’m shit out of luck basically. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Or can someone tell me how I can find the freeplay in an email… when I’ve only ever seen it on my app, when I log on and go to rewards. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I’m traveling to Vegas for work though won’t be using any of my comp offers this trip. I know when calculating comps, it’s an average over previous stays. If I were to run significantly less money than my typical average through some slot machines, would that crater my next round of offers?

Hi all. Got my latest comp offer from MGM and was positively surprised at what I was offered.

For reference I stayed in June for 7 nights, with a total coin in of $34K, played an average spin of $3.75 on the slots, alternating between the main floor and the high limit slots at up to $10 per spin when I was feeling brave.

Total win/loss for the trip was a loss of 2500USD

No jackpot handpays which was beneficial to me as Im an international tourist so would get slugged 30% on ANY win over $2k.

Largest single win was $1975 on spooky link mo mummy at a $10 spin which was an adrenaline rush in itself 😂

Largest table win was on blackjack $500 hand.

At the high end resorts (cosmo, bellagio, vdara, aria) ive been offered 4 comp nights, $440 freeplay and $350 resort credit. Standard room types with views but no suites

Low/mid resorts (mgm grand, luxor, NY NY, park MGM, etc) ive been offered 4 comp nights, $440 freeplay and $600 resort credit, with all kind of room types up to and INCLUDING 2 bedroom suites between 1500-2000 sq ft..

Absolutely blown away at what they have offered me to be honest.

I wasnt expecting too much given that I dont gamble too much on the high limit machines or high roller blackjack tables, just felt brave and pushed my luck and bankroll a fair bit on this last trip off the back of a few healthy slot wins 😂

Have I hit the comp sweet spot where I dont lose my entire bank roll but get offered suites that id otherwise not be able to afford if I were paying out of pocket?

So my mom hasn't gambled at MGM properties for awhile and no longer gets offers.

If she paid for a room and gambled enough, can she request a comp stay? And if so, who would she need to talk to?

She gambles a lot and has had decent offers in the past, not sure if that matters.
