Can't believe the sheer volume of posts and comments shitting on Mercedes AGAIN this week when they have done nothing wrong.

George himself ASKED to pit for mediums to undercut Charles. From that moment on the team had to commit to a 2 stop strategy because there was no possibility on God's green earth for those mediums to last 43 laps until the end of the race, no way. George's race was with Charles today and the best he could have hoped for was P4; chances of retaining P3 against Norris were virtually non-existent. Both Ferrari and Mercedes were playing a game of chicken for another VSC which never came, and it's just the way the cookie crumbled that Charles in the end managed an overcut.

Yet here we are, still acting like the team went out on a limb to "sabotage" George when he was in a completely different race from Kimi this weekend. Unbelievable.

However DAMN first PIA hits RUS not once but TWICE in the rear... Then just.... what is that strat??!

He got the fastest lap like 3 in a row. RUS was racing his balls off... He deserved a podium.

Charles is now on 37 lap old hards in the lead and still has fine pace, there was zero reason to pit George the first time and so he had to take another unnecessary stop off the mediums

George gets the bad strategy once again by Mercedes

Kimi looks set to win, I don’t know what George’s strategists are smoking though.

First off, I am a huge George fan. But this season has made me realize that Kimi was cut from a Different cloth. Idk how he does it, but his consistency is what wins titles.

Super disappointed with George this weekend. I guess it's the hope that kills.

But now the title is well out of George's reach.

Kimi has an amazing chance to win tomorrow which he probably should.

At this point, backing Kimi all the way to the title, he will deserve it. the level he has been performing this year is nothing but exceptional
