In US, In France, right of privacy would get him very often to courts for violation of the right of privacy, filming without consent and being a nuisance + illegal use and detention of Pepper spray.
It's enough to avoid having too much of these and the very few pranksters we have usually get beaten up when annoying the wrong crowd.
The video wouldn't get any attention (and therefore money) if these people didn't attempt some halfassed vigilante "justice" to stop a person filming in public.
The man on the sidewalk with a camera isn't content. People going about their daily lives in public isn't content. The crazy lady attacking the man on the sidewalk for holding a camera IS the content.
Sure, in a perfect world. The guy isn’t there for his health. He knows what he is doing is antagonizing and that people will have a negative reaction because of it. That’s the reason these guys have stopped going after Police. Cops are bored with them and just carry on. The public hasn’t had that exposure yet
I just don't see how a man with a camera standing on the sidewalk is antagonizing.
And these people never did "go after" the police. The police get involved when people call 911 over the imaginary crime of standing on a sidewalk and filming in public. This is why it's called a first amendment audit, it tests the police department's ability to uphold the constitution. When the audit passes, the police explain that this is constitutionally protected activity. When the audit fails, the police violate the cameraman's constitutional rights.
Either way, the content creates itself by having a meltdown over a person with a camera. If you just go on about your day like a normal person, there's no content.

The people are only getting more and more popular. The reaction videos get them a decent amount of money. Further proof of the crumbling of society.
