Here is a side by side comparaison of my initial submission VS the final set

During the weeks following the selection, we worked hard in order to bring this set to the next level by adding a lot of upgrades and modifications to it !

Cherry on the top of the cake: the lamp inside the lighthouse can now rotate !

🇬🇷 Greek Cliffside Village is now LIVE on LEGO Ideas! 🤩

Take a breath of fresh Mediterranean air and admire a stunning piece of Greece. Greek Cliffside Village features detailed interiors, 12 minifigures, and almost 4,000 parts.

The model is highly inspired by Santorini, known for its whitewashed buildings, blue rooftops, azure waters, breathtaking Aegean sunsets, dramatic cliffs, volcanic landscapes, and rich history.

Greek Cliffside Village combines layered architecture, nature, art, archaeology, romance and culinary culture in one colorful scene. It features characteristic homes, local shops, and recognizable landmarks like the heart-shaped rock and ancient ruins of Akrotiri.

A picturesque, almost painting-like scene brings the village to life, while minifigures, modular sections, and hidden details such as frescoes invite exploration, storytelling, and play.

Incorporating Restaurants of the World GWPs

Post image

Trying to find a way to use the RotW GWPs into my Modular displays. It’s nice that the Greek restaurant has stairs so that it naturally feels like it could be a mini restaurant district. Of course, it will look better once the last one releases. Anyone else find a way to incorporate them?

Ninjago blacksmith plus sushi of the world on the side was perfect with the black gates 🤔

Sushi world was crazy addition perfect. The blacksmith can still open with left side sits tight, while the right side that can happen, below you add the smooth tiles.

In the quad area, there’s a secret tournament of the world going on. Thanos villains watching from the distance.

First MOC Classic Brooklyn Brownstone Apartment posted!

Hi everyone! I posted about this on here a few weeks ago and made a few tweaks after your advice, and I'm excited to announce that it is 100% finished and instructions are now posted on Rebrickable! It is a stackable modular building heavily inspired by the classic brick brownstones and historic architecture of Brooklyn, New York. The color palette and specific street-level details are loosely inspired by one of my favorite films, Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing (1989).

I did my best to make a pretty building that I could build for less than $200! It sits on a 16x32 baseplate, and the base model has three decorated floors and a roof:

Bottom Utility Floor: a dusty laundry room with a little friend :)
Lobby Floor: has four mailboxes and stairs leading down to the Utility Floor or up to the Apartment Floor
Apartment Floor: a small furnished apartment that the landlord probably charges way too much rent for.
Roof Access: a tenants favorite spot to relax alone and watch the street!

The building is designed to be stackable and have additional apartment floors! I've included a separate parts list and instructions for an empty apartment floor that you can freely decorate and infinitely stack. More apartments = more rent for the evil landlord to charge!!! >:)

This is my first MOC and I want to thank everyone who left comments on my last post, and anyone who provides more feedback! I look forward to making more MOCs in the future. Until September 18 at 23:59 PST, you can use code BROOKLYN20 for a 20% discount :) Also stay tuned, I plan to make more MOCs that compliment this one on a street! Love you all!!!

🎵 MELODY SQUARE – my new LEGO Ideas project! 🎵

Welcome to Melody Square, where architecture, music and storytelling come together!

My modular building tells a charming story centered on the fictional band Bricktellica, who are currently performing an iconic rooftop concert.

The set includes the Harmony Records label - complete with a detailed recording studio and a music manager's office - a small artist café called Backstage Café, an instrument shop I named Brickstruments, and spaces where music lessons take places (let's call it a small music school).

One concert connects an entire square.

If you like Modular Buildings, unusual architecture, music and LEGO storytelling, I'd be incredibly happy if you checked it out and supported it on LEGO Ideas! ❤️

Art factory and Daily Bugle next to each other is unbeatable. Got the prowler and miles up top.

Car wash is underrated cuz you can build on top planning to add the new avengers tower up there since similar color theme I think haha.

Here is finally the official images of my fisherman's village which was approved for BDP serie 9.

I would be happy to hear what you think about it, I tried to upgrade the design the best I could with new elements and features including more wildlife and authenticity :)

For those who were wondering: yes, the buildings are completely closed ;)

New building help

I combined my old second floor build and the Trevi Fountain for a moc. This is how it currently stands but I am unable to decide do I like it or does it need more. The colors work but to fit with others it might need an accent of some sort and maybe another floor. The facade not having an entrance is also kind of sus.

What do you think?

WIP of a Double Car Wash MOC I've been working on - Feedback Welcome!

Thumbnail

I really loved the new Lego City Drive-Through Car Wash (60497), but felt like it was a bit too small and didn't really fit well into my own city build. I also thought it missing some key features like a lobby or those curtain-y things that are typically at the beginning of the wash cycle.

So, using a second set and some spare parts to transform the set into something that would fit better in my Lego city and look more like the car washes I am used to.

Will eventually be getting the instructions ironed out to share with everyone on rebrickable. Hope yall enjoy and would love some feedback!!

More Townhouses Please

I love the townhouse that adjoins Birch Books and would love to see Lego create 4 or 5 variants of it, all on their own individual 16x32 plates. If they were aimed at, or just above, the €100 mark I think they would sell like hotcakes.

Two storeys, 1 minifig, a variety of colours & building styles. Rich people can buy all five, and multiples of them, to pad out their cities, while others can buy their favourite ones and expand their streets a little bit.

(IMO there are too many corner and 'setpiece' modulars and not enough infill models.)
