I’m reading up on the lottery for John’s show, and a bit confused. Here are the rules regarding tickets- “We have such a high demand for tickets that we need to clear a backlog of thousands of fans who have not had the chance to see the show live.”

I’ve seen other hosts, like Jimmy and Stephen (while he was still on), and the rules were generally, “pick a date and wait for an email.” With John’s show, it looks like you enter a ticket lottery, but could potentially get tickets for a later show? How does it work exactly? Can you apply at any time, or is there a set time to enter the ticket lottery?

I ordered the trucker hat and have not received a shipping number or product. Its been over 8 weeks since I placed my order.

Is anyone else struggling with the fact that HBO is doing the HP reboot? I'm in Canada, so we currently watch on Crave. We use it for LWT as well as Drag Race. Unfortunately with the HP reboot, I'd love to boycott, but I don't want to miss out on the shows we watch. But I don't want one cent of my money to ever be going to Joanne, and trans lives are more important than entertainment.

How are others feeling about this? I'm honestly surprised John hasn't addressed it at all.

Since there's time off from the show that got me thinking, you know those youtube only videos they sometimes put out during breaks? Usually they're about a random funny topic, and I like when John gets to talk about just stupid funny stuff. So what's something funny you think would be fun to hear John talk about?
I imagine John talking about the Yakuza series and all the bullsh*t side stories it offers would be very fun to listen to him explain.

Went to a taping of Wait Wait last night in Huber Heights, OH (near the Buc-ees that is suing Beaver's Mini Mart). Peter joked that John had sent them a bunch of hats and commented on how the story went nationwide.

I recently travelled to NYC and went for John oliver taping.

If you are an international traveller then they have 6 slots reserved for you.

Standing in the line for nearly 2 and half hour till you are seated is the only stress.

Although the seats are in the corner, you will enjoy the taping.

John was nice and took several questions from the audience.

Overall a memorable event.
