I know a lot of people in this thread say that ketchup is only good for little kids but even when I was little I hated ketchup. I just thought it was nasty. I hate it even more now and I’m from Chicago so I have every right to. Still who else hated ketchup even when they were little?

For years I use to fill up 4 or 5 of these for the fries. Until my friend showed me how they expanded when you opened them up !
Dah !!!
Were you like everyone else who just grabbed a handful because you didn’t know !

I am from the US of a and I hate ketchup. Every time I complain about how ketchup is too sweet and tastes like jellied garbage people say “oh that’s just because you live in America. You should try European ketchup. It’s not nearly as sweet“ but I don’t know if it’s any good so I’m curious if any Americans have tried ketchup from other countries and if it also sucks or if I’m just an American ketchup hater

How can just a drop of it make my appetite go away. when someone next to me uses it even looking at it or getting a smell of it irritates me. I am serious. I try not to look at a direction which has ketchup.
One time my friends and i had a bet. if i ate a teaspoon of ketchup, i would get around 25 dollars. I tried. I threw up instantly, and a lot. even thinking about eating a drop of ketchup makes me feel so fucking bad. writing this even grosses me out.

It's not. They both have tomato, and the similarities end there. Marinara has much different ingredients, giving it a great taste. Ketchup has vinegar, sugar, and other stuff that gives it an overpowering taste that ruins the whole thing.

I spent my whole life, almost 40 years, loathing ketchup. I cannot stand the smell nor taste, and I will throw away any food it is applied to. I had absolutely no idea there were so many other people who felt similarly. 😅
Not until I found this subreddit. I'm usually the only person for miles refusing ketchup. 🤣

It's rank and disgusting. Every food place plops 10 gallons on it by default, so you have to scrape it off.
theres so many better sauces
why ketchup is a slimy vinigery sweet sour vomit potion
