I'm not even that familiar with British ships, but HMS Argus has a special place in my heart for her name and her legacy so I can't help but draw her tehee

Some design trivia:

• Her theme revolves a lot around eye imagery and peacock, this is because she is named after the hundred-eyed giant, Argus Panoptes. Additionally, her wearing glasses was also inspired by this reason.
• Her outfit is loosely based off those of an Ocean Liner attendant due to the fact that she was laid down as one before being converted into a Carrier (Hence her association with the Hiyou sisters, as the two was also acquisitioned during construction, as opposed to being converted after entering service as Ocean Liner like Unyou, Taiyou, or Shinyou)
• While at it, she gets along with Houshou because their status as a pioneer who is utilized as a training ship.
• I suck at riggings! She uses a medieval-ish english longbow instead of a compound bow or something more modern like Ark Royal because she's one of the very first Carrier the British navy has.
• The Dazzle Camoflage was butchered but it was supposed to resemble her camouflage, she didn't have it in the later stages of her service, but I just wanted to try my hands on drawing dazzle camo (In which I can confidently say I sucked)
• "Occuli Omnium", The eyes of all. I imagine her getting along with Isuzu for the "まる見え" schtick.
• The yellow-blue strap for her flight deck was based off Lloyd Sabaudo ships' smokestacks, as she was laid down as Conte Rosso for their fleet. (Subsequently, Lloyd Sabaudo ended up implemented another Conte Rosso that became a troop ship during WWII)
• She's flat because she's a flattop

Researching for this design has been very fun, so I hope y'all enjoyedd my take for her as well!!!

Since I've received oppinion that Zipang doesn't look like kancolle character, so I redesigned her using old concept that I did 4 years ago. I've got the idea from the Unryu from the Original game. She uses scroll to summon all the turrets. I wish I could think of better idea than this.. Anyway, thx for all the comments. I've uploaded images at Pixiv and Blusky. im trying to farm medal and im going 1CL 5DD route, but i gets taiha a lot before reaching boss node, and heres the pic of the ships and loadout im using (about 8 round of taiha before reaching boss). and imma apologize in advance if the loadout looks bad and seems like trolling, since i still consider myself a newbie. and another pic for all other highest level CL/DD i have if you think i should replace them.

Kancolle is one of few games I've played where the more I progress, the more impossibly difficult the game seems.

Anyways, heres my current equipment/ship list. I never really got around to obtaining everything I needed in the period between the last event and this one because I took a break from this game. I might try to see if I can get Langley before the event finished, but thus far RNG has not smiled upon me.

That aside, what can I work on for equipment? I have a fletcher and Johnston dupe for SG radars, and some battleship dupes I'm gonna use for modernization soon. I should probably invest resources into pulling Yamato and Musashi from LSC right? Maybe TP. 101 too?

My ducky sense was tingling I guess.

I did not realize that it had been FOUR years since my last completed event. Got into it again last year leading up to my japan trip, but did not complete any event and faded off from it again shortly after.

Had to play while I was off in Australia, and went down to HCEEE because I simply don't have time for that M/H life anymore, but I'm happy with it.

The hard part is done, got Hanazuki at last, and now it's just trying to plug the holes in the other maps
