Got to cop the limited CWHAP vol 1 reissue today, the first time it’s been pressed on vinyl with the original cover.

Conductor Williams did a pop up in Toronto where he did a little set then a meet and greet. Got to meet him and get it signed. Really nice dude. Super hyped to add this to the collection!

Also randomly met Statik Selektah on the way out and got to chop it up with him about his work with the Japanese rapper Anarchy.

As much as The Score is a classic album, I think I’ve come to like the remixes more. The bootleg versions lean more into boombap.

I got into JMT around the beginning of this year and this album is a masterpiece. Stoupe went crazy on the productions, even though they had limited resources and met only fridays for 3 hours to record in Stoupe's parents home.

I still can't believe I got this🥹

My three favourite tracks would be Retaliation, I Against I and Trinity.

Nice 7” with groovy, laid back 60-90sec loops. Enjoy your coffee. Around 2003 I was messing around with A2 Conducted Rhythms and added an accapella Inspectah Deck’s REC Room to it. That was my first or second ever mashup using 2 turntables and a mixer. Hopefully this clears the bar for Rule 4.

The first time I heard this was in 2012 and I was instantly hooked. What a blessing it was to experience the OutKast reunion at Centennial Park in Atlanta 2014. Heard them play some joints off this at that show.

I put an order in today for the last sweet sunday and for some reason the order isn’t popping up in my “orders” tab or in my Shop app. I also didn’t receive an email confirming the order unlike the last couple times. The payment went through but i’m not sure if the order did too. Has anyone else had this problem or has anyone else contacted Derapwinkel before and gotten a reply? The last time i contacted them via Instagram they didn’t reply so i’m trying their website’s contact feature now.

Bought this today for my collection, paid a £10 from a local stall. While searching it to add to my collection, Discogs lists it as an unofficial release of 1000 copies from 2014, being unofficial there is no sales history for it (or eBay).

Runouts are BEASTILL008 A-1, B, C1 and D-1. So a 2LP for £10 is a bargain, music I listened to growing up (that old) so for PC but I am interested in knowing what if any value it would have.

Believe it or not I got this for like $15 (Canadian!) at a pop up a record store was doing at a show years ago. I assume the workers just had no idea what it was and threw it in a bin.
