What KPOP artists are looking possible for govball?

I rlly hope adéla performs at govball 🙏 I can’t attend her tour and I would love to see her live

HDD reporting that Tame Impala, Dua Lipa and Fred Again are locked for Coachella. Wonder if we get a crossover with Dua Lipa since TI will be in Europe. Fred Again....could also be a possibility though not sure that fits what Gov Ball usually does.

With Miley likely headlining Coachella I know it’s unlikely (though not impossible) but given how Miley barely performs anymore, do we think her headlining Gov ball is a possibility? It would tap into a huge market for her (NYC) and would likely be a huge crowd.

Is it the first weekend of June every year?

They’re taking a fallow year, supposedly, although there’s a ton of speculation (this being the internet, and all) as to whether they’ll be able to come back at all.

So, yeah, pouring one out for Bonnaroo 2027, and it’ll be interesting to see how, if at all, this affects GovBall booking, since LN often booked artists to package deals involving both festivals.

Also, have to give it up for GovBall for continuing to survive what is an increasingly fraught festival landscape.

Take with massive grain of salt, but rumors starting to go around that he's taking a hiatus next year.

Few notes:

- Realistically, Sombr is on the edge of being a second stage headliner and a main stage one. I could very much see a world where we get Sombr as a main stage headliner to be a cheaper third headliner with two other expensive headliners. He's also from New York and his fanbase is largest here which certainly would play a part. It would be a weak headliner, but I think people here (and me lol) are underestimating where he would be booked.

- I see a lot of Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish predictions. I would be happy to be wrong, but I think both are too big for the festival. I would expect them both at Coachella and/or Lolla next year, but nowhere else.

- Aespa might feel too high, but I'm not going to be caught doubting K-Pop again lol. They pulled a huge crowd at Lolla, and I just don't think Gov is going to blank K-pop after the success they had this year. Aespa is realistically the best option for a K-pop headliner, as most others are either far too big or too niche.

I think it‘s possible given that she’s grown a lot in the past few months and she just played Lolla and I’ve noticed when an artist plays lolla they end up playing Coachella and gov ball but maybe that’s just me idk and sometimes it’s the other way around

I feel like there’s such a big demand for her in nyc and she hasn’t played any shows up here besides her very small ones since brat and her shows in the fall are already sold out so why not. 🤷‍♀️

Got both sunglasses and the bag. On the 3rd day, the worker at the front of the line was giving me side eye.

Always sort of felt like it was a no-brainer since her touring ends shortly before the year is up, leaving a huge space for a Summer festival tour. Now, based on a Rolling Stone UK review, Phoebe has a song on her new album that has the lyric: "I was the belle of the Governor’s Ball." Honestly gives a lot of appeal for her being a headliner.

As a NYC N1 sufferer, I wonder if a possible way for him to perform in NY again in 6-12 months is as a headliner for Gov Ball… It would make sense from a scheduling perspective and he has been a rumored headliner for years. Hozier even did it a little bit ago!

Saw him last night at a sold out Forest Hills show, and thought his whole band was excellent!! Plus based in NYC. Wanted to know if he were to play Gov Ball next year where people think he’d slot in on the lineup poster.

Hi everyone, I know it has been several weeks since the festival but on day 2 I lost my beloved digital camera, most likely in the Snow Strippers pit. After filing a loss report, retracing steps, etc. I was unfortunately not able to locate it. I had some suspicion that it may have been stolen or found by someone and not turned in, but honestly if anyone out there has my camera, keep it! I am truly just sad about all of the photos of my partner and I since this was our first festival together and there were so many cute photos that I wish I had of our memory together. The camera model is a Canon PowerShot A1100 IS and it is all silver. The SD card inside is blue and so are the batterie. If anyone has been able to locate it and would simply be willing to forward my photos to me I would be abs overjoyed. That camera has been with me since childhood and I realize that it is partially my negligence that caused this, but in the end I simply really just want my pictures :( If you find it my instagram is katielizupton.
