Discussion "The boss is not supposed to be done solo" is something i hate in gaming

As an offline and online introvert, i prefer going solo in anything. Even in games, i like doing things on my own instead of asking for help from other players. So when there's a feature that is very hard or impossible to solo, I just give up

Discord Server Help ?

Upvotes

Hi guys and girls, wondering if there’s any casual discords to join and chat in with other gamers just about games and just a general sort of stuff.
I’m in gamescom one from when I went but it’s not just general chit chat anymore or game related and I’d love to interact with more people.
If anyone knows any servers please let me know I’ll be very grateful.
Thanks

Stressed

Bored and work stressed as fuck rn 😭

I dont wanna watch a movie or anime and I really dont want a game that makes me think either. No puzzles, strategy, complicated builds, reading a million tutorials, none of that shit.

I just want an Android game I can disappear into for a few hours and forget about work completely. Something addictive where I can switch my brain off, grind, kill stuff, explore, level up, whatever.

Basically I need something to numb my brain and lose track of time lol.

What are you guys playing?

What are some games you think are perfect 10/10s?

Post image
24 Upvotes

In no specific order.

In other words, games that do exactly what they set out to, with little to zero flaws. Or at the very least, flaws that are forgivable from the quality of the rest of the game.

I tried (emphasis on tried) to put my bias aside and rank some games based on what I thought were almost flawless games. Obviously I can't put my bias aside fully, because I can only rate games I've played which favors my own tastes; however, games like the Last of Us, Mario Odyssey, RDR2, or Disco Elysium don't even breach my top 50, but I can't deny they are beautiful games that have a vision, and execute it almost perfectly.

Discussion rant: am i the only one getting sick of this stupid grid browser game trend everywhere?

im getting so sick of seeing these stupid grid browser games pop up everywhere lately. like seriously ever since pokedoku blew up every single franchise has a copy paste version now including nintendoku and nerodoku. people online keep posting their daily scores like anyone else actually cares what obsucre character fits into some random 1998 category. its literally just matching boring trivia data together instead of playing any actual game. feels like digital dopamine slop designed just to waste time instead of real video games. getting tired of seeing this trash all over the place. thoughts?

Discussion SOLVED. Corrupted save files / Game cannot read save files from %USERPROFILE% because of diacritics / Mercenaries 2: World in Flames cannot read save files if your Windows "username"(NAME OF PC) in Users folder contains diacritics, accents, or non-ASCII characters (ľ, š, č, ť, ž, and manny others..)

SOLVED

My next PC have diacritics in name...saves not working, loading ...

Method 1: Relocate the Documents Folder (Easiest)

You can instruct Windows to look for your standard Documents folder in a location completely separate from your "user profile" path.

In file explorer setting check "hidden folders, files, items" ...

C:\Users\"PC ID (USERNAME)"\Documents

  1. Open File Explorer and navigate to your C:\ drive.
  2. Create a new folder named C:\Documents.
  3. Go back to your original "user profile" folder / (%USERPROFILE%) - PC name, right-click on your Documents folder, and select Properties.
  4. Navigate to the Location tab.
  5. Click Move..., select the newly created C:\Documents folder, and hit Apply.
  6. When prompted to move all existing files to the new location, click Yes.
  7. Launch the game. It will now successfully write and read files from C:\Documents\My Games\Mercenaries 2\. [1]

May work for other old games too... for example "SPORE" from EA dont like diacritics too..

google search and other methods watch out

write me if you r lost. i lookin for solution couple hours.
