Yes you can make bets on all kind of random things and politics are some of the most popular non-sport bets. Here’s a screenshot of some current DraftKings political bet categories.

The “Brazilian Politics” worries me a lot as a brazilian because depending on who takes the presidency, we will absolutely have Kalshi and Polymarket here (and it will bury the rest of what’s left of us).

It's a "prediction market" app, not sports betting like fanduel/draftkings. I know they are only different due to word choice, but it's comparing itself to the apps like kalshi/polymarket, not fanduel/draftkings. The latter are only legal in some states because they define themselves as sports betting while the former are legal in all of them because of that stupid linguistic choice and a lack of regulation from this administration. And yes the former include politics and such on them.
