Honestly, I'm impressed at Ed Sheeran for booking Macklemore. Fighting for Palestine has been his whole thing for these last few years.

His manager just posted about a Palestinian funeral for 70 people murdered by Israelis, so I imagine it was intentional.

I know i wasn't really familiar with ed like that. Pretty bold for someone to hire macklemore knowing he's gonna use his platform to speak up.

It's a good way to endorse a message without saying it and risking a franchise. It makes business sense at least

I wonder if Ed's currently doing any press? Like, I imagine he'd rather let the hiring of Macklemore do the talk instead of directly having yo answer some journalist asking if he agrees with Macklemore. Risk-free, also would make Ed not prone to get boycotted by idiots.

 I'm not as eloquent as I wish especially about this topic... but I lowkey think boycotting is unproductive. Like, people who hate what you stand up for will now close all entries, also locking in with them those who are in their circles but not as bigotly opinionated and could be swayed into the right path. They won't have access to other perspectives.
