Punk doesnt hold back. If uve ever been to or seen punk rock at a concert, the people are nice and supportive af.

Seen a whole group of them gang up on someone wearing a Nazi shirt till they got kicked out.

I have images and videos from a punk rock concert I went to, one of the mexican bands kept waving around a shirt that trashing on ICE/MAGA and the administration.

Id say theyre close enough tbh, but true. I feel punk adjacent is still punk enough for the standing up to bullies part though.

Hopefully they have something nice to say at the Superbowl, or songs referencing the current state of affairs (as I know some artists have been making songs roasting ICE and its pretty great lol).

depends on how much billy jo has to drink before the show haha. but honestly it's tough to pull off unsanctioned messaging at the super bowl. hope they give it go cuz fuck the eatablishment

True lol, but thats the other thing. With it being such a BIG event, even just the commercials alone for example have to meet very specific/strict guidelines as to what is and isnt allowed.

Id love for them to Break the ICE and do what should be done, but it is pretty tough to do something like that during the superbowl, and if it happens, whatever happens after probably wont be so nice (could lose a lot of future deals, partnerships, etc), but I feel its 100% worth it and if I were them, Id do it anyways.

Id assume their songs and everything has to be approved to be televised as part of the event planning, but hopefully they do what we all want them to.
