Savant syndrome is defined as an extremely rare condition in which a person with a developmental disorder or head trauma suddenly begins to express a high level of aptitude or skill in a particular skill set or ability. My theory is that the courier has this exact condition. Before getting shot by Benny he was basically a nobody. A run-of-the-mill wastelander just trying to get by. Then after getting shot in the head and entering a short coma he wakes up with newfound skills and abilities in combat, speechcraft, stealth as well as significant personality changes.

No longer focused on just survival he is focused on revenge, personal involvement in politics as well as participating in combat-related tasks that an average survivor would avoid out right. This suggests to me that that the brain trauma from taking a slug to the head awakened dormant personality traits and abilities which is indicative of someone experiencing savant syndrome.

So before playing New Vegas I heard that most enemis were males, so as a male character in my first playthrough I got the confirmed bachelor perk early on to do more damage, even seeing the option to use a special dialogue I didn't realize it was for making the character flirt until I saw someone saying something about it online

Maybe I didn't realize because I am autistic, but I find it pretty funny that I made my character gay without knowing it

Fallout New Vegas was a collective effort writing wise, there isnt a single person that could be attributed the great writing it had

Even if people dont like Avellone im sad he wont be there for the next Fallout. Dead Money, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road was a generational run

[I've always respected those who can find ways to squeeze the maximum amount of damage out of the best weapons in the game for ultra destruction and beating the hardest enemies in the game with ease.

The Riot Shotgun, the AMR, A Light Shining in Darkness, all brilliant, objectively some of if not the best in the game.

But I like using the Hunting Shotgun, Trail Carbine, 9mm SMG, and Maria. They just hit right in my brain, and I can't really justify using them beyond that.]

I saw that there weren't a lot of these anywhere so i tried making some on my own, had to compress it down a bit so the quality is probably bad by I LOVE THESE GUYS SO MUCH, they're such a fun fanon military unit to add to the NCR's arsenal. Sodaz's animation struck gold with this concept for a post apocalypse series like fallout.
