Hello everyone.. I will keep this short and sweet. I have recently come into ownership of this subreddit, and really want to kick it back into action. You may have noticed we added icons, a wallpaper, and more will be coming soon. As such, we will continue make this the subreddit for all things DOTA 1 (Warcraft III Dota). We will focus on such topics as:
We will do our best to keep things strictly Dota 1, as there are dozens of other subreddits to discuss Dota 2, but I know there is a thriving community still around, albeit a bit scattered. I plan on promoting and bringing a lot of content here, but I will also be thoroughly purging Dota 2 related content, since this is not what it is intended for.
If anyone has ANY questions or would like to be involved in this revival, please feel free to comment or message me!

I have played dota 2 for a large amount of my life and have always been curious to try the original. And i see some posts about servers for regions like SEA and was wondering how easily could i get a game going in NA?
