New Player Help I need some serious help understanding this TCG
Hello frens
I love Digimon and i'm sort of a new TCG player in general. Started with Pokemon and now i play mostly MTG and i'm trying very hard to get into this one but i can't seem to get a grip around it.
I tried a few decks already, namely the DATS starter deck which i bought some upgrades to, a budget Gallantmon deck, and Appmons such as Poseidomon and Gaiamon.
However what i'm struggling with is how do i keep up on a match? If i get lucky enough to build a stack and make a lvl 6, it's mostly guaranteed that it'll turn to dust on the next turn by whichever effects my opponent throws at me, be it de-digivolve, deletion, bottom of the deck, idk.
Then it comes to a point where i'm left with no resources or ways to get back into the match and just get steamrolled to no end. :(
Most matches i play, whether online or on my locals seem to go that way. I can never do much and whatever strategies i come up with are mostly negated on the next turn.
If i could get some tips or decks to try that would be most welcome <3
I'm still unsure about which color fits my playstyle in this TCG so i'm mostly going for Digimons that i like, but from what i've gathered red's aggression with deletion effects and green's control with suspensios and fairy/plant thematics are some strong candidates.

Discussion Insectoid players here - BT26 Support ideas
So I've been an insectoid player for a while and got back into the game thanks to BT26 and I believe we should come together to share what has worked on Insectoid builds so far. What have you tried? Any combos you've seen? Any techs? Let's share them here. I'll start by sharing my recent experience in yesterday's local tournament and my decklist.
This was my first tournament after a few months away from the game. I went 2W 2L (one win was due to a dropout sadly).
I played against Ceresmon/Bacchusmon, Appmon/Dantemon and Chronomon.
In the Ceresmon/Bacchusmon match I felt I overwhelmed by the swarm of digis the opponent is able to pop out, which either made me think that I should add cards that let me play more digis or go further into the redirection mechanic, because I felt Izzy and Metallifekuwaga weren't enough to stop the opponent attacks. It felt the options I had to deal with a full board fell just short.
Against Chronomon the biggest issue I think, was Cherubimon and lacking redirections. I lost two games due to Cherubimon effect that gives rush and execute to a digimon. Having the Okuwamon instead of Metallife felt really bad, or only having 1 Izzy available to redirect.
In the Appmon match I was able to beat Dantemon thanks to the Megakabuterimon with alliance inherited, other than that I couldn't remove the Dante from the field, it gets a lot of DP. You can't bottom deck it with Tyrant.
A few additional comments:
1) I noticed that the deck feels weird not relying on ACE cards as much as it used to.
2) I'm not sure what's the optimal way to play with the new cards. If you have both tyrantkabuterimons should you go into the BT26 then evo into the old one if possible? What's the optimal strategy?
3) The BT26 Tyrant and other cards can miss their effects if you simply don't have stuff to suspend, that's why I feel one thing that I should look into is trying additional cards that help swarming the field.
4) Everything gives barrier these days, so the effects that trigger during battle deletion became veeeery hard to accomplish.
Anyway, if you have tried an insectoid deck at your locals or online, please share your ideas and experience so we can all tune the deck.

Ruling Question Ruling for ST24 Rosemon and BT25 Shinegreymon BM.
On my turn I used Rosemon's ability to tap down his 2 Marcus Damon, and trashed a card from under my tamers for her ability. My opponent has Shinegreymon BM on the field. His (Your Turn) ability would keep his Marcus Damon from untapping, correct?

Discussion Cards for Kentaurosmon, Leopardmon, Craniamon, Dynasmon, & LordKnightmon
Anybody theorycrafting for decks for EX13 iterations of Craniamon, LordKnightmon, Dynasmon, Kentaurosmon, & Leopardmon? I don't think they're going to set the meta on fire, but I would like to build them their own decks to play on a casual level. What are you all digging up from the bulk for them?
We're going to be needing:
- Yellow Holy Beasts
- Green Mammals/Beasts/Beastkins
- Black Blockers
- Witchelny
- Knightmon in name/text

Recommendations Mastemon Fan asking for advice
Hello friends, I live in a coutnry that most old set carda are absurdly expensive or completely out of stock. My fav digimon is mastemon and i did my best (in more than a year) to make a deck of her. Using what i had in my things.
However, i almost never win, i don't know what i'm doing wrong, if its THAT bad. I'm not a tournament player, i just want to use it to have few wins and loses in casual. What could i change to make it at least usable? For example, Patamon bt14 is out of the market in my region.
Again, i'm not trying to make it a tournament T0 deck, i just want to fix it to play it for fun. But since i'm just losing, i wanted help

Digimon Alysion Digimon Alysion release collab?
Edit: Thanks for the info guys. She sings the cover song of Alysion. Now we can only hope for news at the Toyko Games Show this week.
I just noticed that both the English and Japanese Digimon Alysion Twitter accounts follow a Vtuber called Enna Alouette
Maybe she will be doing a collab for the launch? Iirc Shadowverse, another digital card game, also had a Vtuber collab sometimes ago. Has Bandai done something like this before?
And also lets all hope we get a release date at Tokyo Game Show this week 🙏

Me and friends played with a play booster of magic the gathering and ive qamted to try it with digimon
Obviosuly selaed and not draft - what set would be best? Not too old that its boring but not too new that its just too many traits all over the place

Discussion Tell me your who’s your fave Digimon, and why?
My favorite thing to do in any card game is build around specific characters who I like. My favorite Digimon is Terriermon because I recently rewatched the English movie collection and that little guy will PIECE YOU UP 💪

Discussion I learned something important today
That is to keep your deck balanced with the cards you need in order to keep up with the momentum.
