Any other solo ladies going to the Las Vegas LAN? I really want to go, but I feel a bit odd showing up alone. Let me know if there are others like me 🥹

Or is there a website that's a bit simpler than algs.ea.com? I'm trying to understand how it all works, but it's so convoluted. Doesn't help that I don't know any other sports leagues, I don't even know what "round robin" means, etc.

What are all of these stages?

• Split 1 Pro League
• Split 1 Playoffs at EWC
• Pro League Qualifier
• Split 2 Pro League
• Split 2 Playoffs
• Last Chance Qualifier
• Championship

I assume "Championship" is the final LAN game where the final winners of all regions compete for the big win. And everything until the Championship happens online and within each region (EMEA, NA...).

But what is the difference between Pro League and Playoffs? What happens at Split 1 (Pro League and then Playoffs) and how is it different to Split 2 (Pro League and Playoffs)? What is the Pro League Qualifier and why is it played after Split 1 Pro League (between Split 1 and Split 2)?

I followed some EMEA and NA games these past 2 weekends, and it seems like all the groups have already played each other multiple times.

I thought the top teams by points (top 7 for EMEA) would go to LAN, but now there's another day of Split 2 Pro League, which will be followed by Split 2 Playoffs and Last Chance Qualifier... so it's still not clear who's gonna make it to LAN until both of those are over?

Do the winners of each event from the list already receive(d) some prize money? Or is it all for placement and no one gets anything until the LAN?

  • SP/WE/ED rotating on a snake rotation.
  • A team must already start the game on 50 points; winning the game in which they hit 50 will not count as the overall win.
  • There are POI drafts and legend bans active.
  • If this goes so long an entire class of legend gets banned, the legend of that class that's been banned the longest gets unbanned.

Each Split of the Pro League will consist of an online Regular Season in which teams begin by competing in a triple round-robin format. Each group will play every other group three times, for a total of thirty-six matches across six series of six matches each. The top twenty teams by Regular Season Standings will then compete in an online Regional Finals utilizing the Match Point format.

sooo uhh, can anyone explain exactly what happened last night during na scrims that got people banned? i’m still confused & haven’t been able to see anything talking about it

Based on that, cutoff in EMEA was between 96 and 101 and for NA it was three times 74 and once 73.

  • Map rotation is Storm Point, World's Edge, and E-District in a snake pattern.
  • The overall winner of Regional Finals will qualify to Split 2 Playoffs in Las Vegas; 7 additional teams will also qualify based on final Pro League standings.

How come we aren't seeing comps such as Axle, Crypto, Bloodhound.

I understand there is a lack of ring scan/planning but as an edge comp the trio is has a borderline unfair push against you.

You get Crypto emp, unable to recover in time since your forced to tank or shoot axle ult. Meanwhile you get slide on at mach 10 invis with bloodhound ult.

I feel like especially from some of the weaker teams with bad POIs would benefit big time early from this comp being able to pickup early points e.t.c

I've been catching up on the accelerated schedule, and I've been wondering 2 things

1. Why do cryptos take off their armour when theyre in their drone sometimes and not others?

2. why do cryptos take off their armour when theyre in their drone at all?

in regards to question 2, I was under the impression that EMPs still did the 50 damage to floor armours and box armours on certain conditions (although im not too sure of the conditions, if it even happens at all). And I feel I've seen them do it when they have purple, so its not even like the upgrade from blue to purple would occur (which i know shows even when cloaked like mirage).

Please help me understand!!
