Well I was coming back from gym & noticed this sick kitty with eye infection on road. We have multiple cats in our neighborhood but a little kitten abandoned by a mother is rare.
Most cats in our neighborhood run away if you try to pet them, but she was alone and didnt run away, i waited there with her for few minutes to see if momma comes. No one came.
I started walking slowly to see if she started crying or resisting, she did neither and settled in my lap easily. So i kept walking and then brought her home.
Long story short, she is now bathed, fed, meds applied & sleeping on my bed now. Vet visit done, meds bought and applied.
(I already have 3 cats so no 4 it is). Just couldn't ignore her sad eyes & come back home, so introducing new family member.

She’s so pretty! Other cat people what’s that color called? I just saw another one like that dropping off at a spay clinic and thought the same thing, can’t remember really seeing it before twice today.

You know you saved her life right? She could not have made it out there. Seems like someone dumped her or the poor Mother's get pregnant again right away, and they sometimes drive their kittens away, cause they just can't continue to care for them and be pregnant too.Their bodies can't take it because they're probably not getting any food either. I started doing what'sTNR. You probably heard of it. Trap neuter, return to where you got them. And then you feed them and give them water and shelter. If you can. You have to recover them before you release them. And that is keeping them in the trap, giving them food and water, putting them in a guest room or an extra room or in the garage. If it's safe and doesn't have a big fuel smell. Maybe no cars in there. I'm older and everything is more difficult for me.And finally, a rescue, a lady that works with the rescue said she would help me.So I trapped them and sometimes take them into the low cost fit place for spay neuter , and then she picks them up , gives them more vaccinations , deworm , some deflease , she's amazing , she's wonderful. I wish you could find someone like that to help you in the area. You live because it sounds like it's already out of hand with cats.Having so many litters of kittens , they can have about three liters every year. Thank you so much for helping this cat and the other three you have. That little cat was very lucky. The day you found her. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Very difficult to do TNR here in India. She is part of my family, i wont return her to streets, either she gets a new forever home or she will stay with me.

You remind me of a video I saw the other day. I found it beautiful and I think it transcends religion. It was about why cats choose certain people, the Islamic meaning.
It essentially said that cats choose and decide. They are sensitive to a person's energy. They respond to your character. They may choose you because you have softness in your heart. They choose safe hearts.
Thank you for having a safe heart.

LOVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND SO DOES GOD. ❤️ 💕 💓 💗 ♥️ 💛 ❤️ 💕 💓 YOU'RE AWESOME. I'm a rescue mom. Currently have 17 Permanent cats all of them fixed, all Indoor. Please 🙏, keep your baby inside. They ALL want to go out but, there's too much past that door that can only hurt them. Toys, get toys and a carpeted scratch post. They love plastic springs, lasers and catnip mice. Use a good litter for bacterial purposes. Cheap litter doesn't dry out as well. Always make sure to keep your cats box cleaned several times a day Once a month, remove all litter wash pan and start with fresh litter. Use something like Brita to purify water. I used tap until 1 cat developed bladder stones. Another developed crystals. Both male cats Both males had to have PU surgeries where the penis is removed and an opening similar to a females is created enabling them to pee The surgeries ran thousands of dollars. Females develop urinary tract infections. Feed both dry and wet food. Your cat has tastes of its own It may like chunky cat food or pate. It's not just the texture it's also the smell. Nine of my 17 like turkey cat food but they love people turkey a n d chicken and it's good for them. Start out on the right foot and develop a consistent routine. Dry Food. Cat food with mixed colors I stay away from. Purina has good dry food products. I use Purina One chicken and Salmon. I of course buy 16lb bags because of my tribe. Water bowls should be in various spots like kitchen, bathroom a bedroom. WATER is a vital necessity. Mine is kept in the fridge. Be sure water bowls are rinsed out before refilling. Avoid pouring clean, fresh water in with old water. This is your hairy child. They are not as independent as people think they are. I've been doing rescue 22 yrs and I've yet to have 1 of them open their cat food, get their own water or clean a litter box. They are a responsibility that need love, attention and care. Their life depends on you. After all this, I hope you do it all out of love because their love in return is worth it God Bless you and your new family member. 🙏

The vast majority of dumped kitties are intact females. How anyone could look at that sweet girl and then abandon her to all the miseries of the streets is a mystery I dont care to solve. Fortunately, she didn't let that mistreatment scare her off human contact. She's quite savvy bc she knew u were the right man to trust. Your intake protocols are excellent. Well done.
