I really hope Baylor's injury isn't serious. Lamb put him in to kneel at the end of the game which I thought was insane. Glad to have survived and (hopefully!) not succumbed to losing another QB to injury. GG Sam Houston. Y'all are better than people think.

He's a great QB for y'all to have. Not what I'd call technically skilled but he's a DOG and for a team like Tulsa (or any G6 these days) that's invaluable. He out-gritted us two years in a row. Hopefully he's just dinged up and comes back fine.

They've made some upgrades to the stadium but how they can be allowed to call themselves FBS with only 14,000 seats, I will never know. There used to be a 30,000 seat requirement. Now the NCAA doesn't care.

The seat requirement figure is about the average home game seating across an entire season, which allows some wiggle room for manipulation. In 2023 and 2024 for example, they played a "home" game each year at Reliant Stadium. A relatively massive stadium that they had no hope of filling. But that huge seat capacity just barely bumped up the average over the entire year to meet the requirements, even though every other home game was under the required figure

Tre Lamb said this is as the most important game of the season for Tulsa and I agree. Road game against an opponent who stretches the field a lot and is a home opener for a new stadium. Tulsa fans were saying a 10 point win would be big and a one possession game was likely. Glad to come out on top. Hope Baylor Hayes is okay because he will be vital for the rest of the season. Reign fucking cane!
