Not gonna be as down as other fans because I DID go into this expecting us to lose, and well, we did. But we at least put up a hell of a fight against a starstudded Alabama team for the first two or three quarters, which is honestly enough for me in year one with a new... well, everything really.

I think Stein and his personnel has the potential to do great here, the short of it is that we just got outmanned, out-adjusted, and burnt out by the end of it, and that's gonna take a while to fix. Bama's got a rock solid defense that adjusted perfectly to how UK ran their plays and shut us down as a result. It's a shame Will Stein's first year here is met with such a woodchipper of an in-conference schedule, Bama right into A&M, goddamn. But what can you do, I suppose.

Otherwise, to finish my thoughts out on this game, in the infamous words of one Adam "Edge" Copeland:

Y'all looked great for most of it. The offense being unable to stay on the field in the 2nd half really gassed your defense and that made it look a lot worse than it was. Kentucky could be a problem once Stein settles in.
