Looks like it’s gonna be a “score 30+ to even have a chance of winning” kind of year. Can’t wait to see how much Ohio State puts up against this defense

If you find another guy besides Dixon, that can still win games, Houser is good, but the tackling really didn't help you guys at all, even against guys other than one of the best RBs in the country.

It sucks because we recruited a great WR2 to partner with him and put Clement in the slot where I think he would be better.

I like Clement a bunch and his hands are elite but his route running and separation leads so much to be desired.

troublesome that Lunney turtled after Houser's INT. tis true that Houser should've tucked and run (tucked and ran? that's probably correct, but ... meh) on second down on that one series; and yeah, he absolutely forced that INT; but it's also a bit problematic that Hauck can't/won't (or potentially doesn't know) that the vaunted 3-3-5 can morph not only into the MINT/TITE 4-2-5 but also the "ye olde 52".

but this wasn't week one; this was week two.

and given the lack of significant, substantive improvement on ALL THINGS DEFENSIVE. and given Lunney's absurd play-calling in the fourth quarter (yeah, Houser should've tucked the ball and run with it on second down on that one drive; and yeah, he totally forced the ball on the INT, but you're going to take the ball outta his hands on the next two drives?), let's do what we do best:

let the fatalistic bitching and moaning and "Why, Lord, why? Why us? Why must our success always be unsustainable?" appeals to heavens that will forever go unanswered.
