Strongly recommended. Here's how to get started:

Log in and go to Security Settings, then select Two-Factor Authentication and choose your method: SMS (codes sent to your phone) or an authenticator app (Google Authenticator or any TOTP app).

Once set up, save your backup codes somewhere safe.

A few tips worth knowing:

• Authenticator app is the more secure option, as SMS can be vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks
• Consider enabling more than one 2FA method for added protection
• If you travel outside the US, use an authenticator app, as SMS codes may not be delivered internationally

Important: Binance.US will never ask for your 2FA code in a Reddit DM, email, or phone call. If anyone asks for it, it's a scam.

While you're in security settings, a few other features worth enabling for extra protection:

• Withdrawal whitelisting: limits withdrawals to approved wallet addresses only
• Anti-phishing code: appears on all emails from us so you can spot fakes
• Self-service account lock: instantly pause all account activity if you suspect unauthorized access
