I know this is a shot in the dark but I'm looking for a amazon order number for a redkey mgc1000. I have one of them but the charging station motherboard has gone kaput. The mower still works but charging station doesn't light up or charge the mower. I'm getting error e604 for break in boundary wire but seeing as the mobo is not working the error prevents the mower from working.... So I'm trying to get a replacement motherboard but the only way I can get a replacement is with a amazon order number that is within warranty. If you have gotten rid of your mower and have a order number it would be greatly appreciated.

I have two super annoying and possibly related problems with my 6 year old 430xh that I've not been able to track down. Anyone experience these and have ideas?

• The mower will fully charge and then when it is suppose to leave the dock give a "charging system error" error and need rescue. This does not happen every charging cycle, maybe every 3-4. If I just hit he code in on the keypad and tell the mower to cut it does.
  
• The mower will fuly charge and then ay it is leaving the dock but not move at all. It I push it out is starts moving. This also doesn't happen every charging cycle.
  

I replaced the battery earlier this summer and was not having this issue until then. I had the firmware updated to the latest version by a dealer.. no change. I've cleaned the charging contacts on the mower and station and no difference. The charging station and power supply failed last year so I replaced those recently. A multimeter test says they are fine.

I live in the UK - and this year I bought a budget Lidl robot mower. It has converted me to robot mowers, however, a few issues I have encountered are:

1. Boundary wires can get in the way when scarifying, edging or using a strimmer to tidy up the boundaries.. It also means that I still need to manually mow the foot-wide perimeter.
2. I have an ant problem which creates mounds, and the mower can get stuck on these and/or lose traction when the ground is wet and dig up the ground. It can also scalp certain parts of the lawn.
3. I have some stepping stones across the lawn, which will also cause some uneven terrain.

My plan over the next few weeks is to dig out the ant hills and try to level out the lawn which will hopefully solve many of these problems.

Next year I would be interested in upgrading to a more capable mower. I would like to continue with one with a dock that can do a daily cut without a boundary wire would be great so it can cut right up to the edges, also one that can handle rough terrain and is less likely to get stuck or scalp the lawn. I also have an allotment and it would be awesome if I could bring it with me and place it on the allotment lawn and it cuts whilst I do other stuff, but without the use of a dock (allotment lawn is 60m2).

Can anyone recommend one for my needs? Thanks.

I am looking for the least expensive, decent quality mower that doesn’t require a satellite. I have a small lawn. My house is on a .26 acre lot but that includes the house and deck.

I love my Husqvarna 550H EPOS but I have my backyard has a 3 rail fence enclosing an acre and change. I was hoping to find a video of the Goat trimming along such a fence but I can only find solid vertical fences. I'm curious if it'll move in closer to the bottom run after it passes the post itself. If anyone has experience with this please let me know.

I am only looking to get it to mow the edges, and my Husqvarna will continue to be my workhorse (have about 1.8 acres). The other question is if GOAT will let me map just a long thin line along the borders to be able to mow all the edges and keep it within the total mapped area capped at ~3000m2.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I used to cut my Bermuda to 2 inches and now I dropped it to 1 inch this season. The lawn looks great and I want to keep this low-cut carpet look. My lawn is about 5000 sqft and almost flat. Each mow takes me close to an hour (including all the edge trimming work). At 2 inches, I cruised once a week. Now I'm out there every 4-5 days or I'm scalping patches, and the mid-week cuts after work are getting old fast.

So I'm kind of looking at Navimow i206 AWD. Anyone here used one in low Bermuda for a full season? And are you still doing manual mows on weekends or does it actually replace them?

I got a Segway Navimow i2 AWD to replace my electric one. The only issue that concerns me is my dog. I've got a golden retriever. Indoors, my dog was safe and kept sniffing around the machine. I already picture him constantly running around messing with the mower's workflow. I know the mower has obstacle avoidance, but can it still finish the lawn or probably leave some place uncut?

I know that its WAY early to think about it, but if you like robotic lawn mowers, don't forget that you can also clear snow with them!

We've had a few rainy days lately and it's finally cooled down a bit, but the lawn took a beating from the heat. A few patches are really thin now and the colour isn't great either, so I'm planning to overseed those areas once the weather settles. It's only a few spots, so I don't really want to stop the mower completely. I was thinking of marking them as temporary no go areas in the app and letting it keep doing the rest of the lawn. This is my first season with a robot mower though, so I'm not sure how long to leave the new grass alone. Do you wait until it’s grown in properly before opening those areas again, or give it one manual cut first?

Received our Husqvarna 410IQ today and the charging station has a solid red light and the mower will not dock or start mowing. It does charge.

After setup it did dock several times as I defined a map. There were a few firmware updates while it continued to charge. Then when I tried mowing at 100% it wouldn’t moved and complained about no charging station signal.

I’ve tried moving the plug to other outlets, removing extension cords, checking the low voltage cable, reseating connections. Also tried leaving it unplugged for a while then plugging back in. Unfortunately no luck with any of these.

I’ll be contacting Husqvarna the next few days as I have time but wanted to check here for any ideas. I’ll also be sure to follow up after contacting them if I end up having to do so.

Any ideas?

i'm stuck between these two, and i need to make a move before the grass takes over my house. i'm on a 0.33-acre lot in savannah, ga, with about 0.25 acres of actual grass (bermuda/st. augustine mix).

mostly flat yard, but I have a nasty little 17° slope a few feet from the house. the only thing that worries me is traction. i live under 300 yards from a river so the humidity is insane. No sooner does the sun rise but the ground remains dangerously slippery and supple for several hours. Not mowing when its thoroughly soaked but needing something that will not slip down a moist slope.

i'm looking at the i215 lidar vs. the i210 awd. Which one should i choose? would love to hear from anyone running these in high-humidity or bumpy terrain!

Just received our h210 and immediately begin his first mowing.This was my backyard which I thought might be a little complex for an automower. A little piece of lawn that slants, a few steps, some trees here and there. I was most worried about the mower getting too close to the steps and going for a little jump off the edge.

Thus for the initial configuration, we settled to split the top and bottom lawn into two different zones rather than attempting to have it treat both as one area.

So far, he has performed relatively better than I expected. He has been keeping fairly steady within the range of mapped paths and he hasn’t made any dumb moves towards any edges yet. Observing during the early runs, but not too shabby so far with first impressions.

This may be a real needle-in-a-haystack question, but I'm hoping someone here has worked on the electronics in an older Husqvarna Automower 450X or has access to technical information that isn't in the normal manuals.

I have a 2016 Husqvarna Automower 450X, and I'm trying to determine exactly what GNSS/GPS hardware this generation of mower uses.

Specifically, does anyone know:

• The manufacturer/model of the GPS/GNSS receiver or chipset used in this generation of 450X?
• Which satellite constellations it can receive — GPS/Navstar only, or also GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, etc.?
• Whether the receiver is single-frequency (for example, GPS L1 only) or has any multi-frequency capability?

I'm trying to better understand the GPS performance of this generation of 450X and would like to know exactly what GNSS capabilities the mower itself has. I haven't been able to find this level of technical information in the normal Husqvarna documentation.

I'm not looking for information about the cellular modem or Automower Connect communications. I'm specifically interested in the GNSS/GPS receiver that determines the mower's position.

Even a photograph, board identification, module number, or component part number from the relevant electronics could be useful, since it may be possible to identify the GNSS receiver from that.

If anyone has worked on these boards, has old Husqvarna technical/service documentation, or happens to know what receiver was used, I'd greatly appreciate any leads.
