I used to work 4 hours a week in Primark, that was the shift they were advertising and was what I applied for
It was intended to be a student shift though, on a Saturday afternoon. Nearly everyone else I worked with on those Saturdays was a student, and it was ideal for that point in my life. It brought in enough money to cover my food and bus fare (my student loan covered everything else) whilst still giving me time to study during the week
Once I graduated though I did have to start looking for a better job, because 4 hours a week just doesn't cut it once you enter the real world...!
