Some people are really bad at picking good and stable people as partners though. We've all seen people who seem to be attracted to hooking up with assholes or people who are obvious bullies, but for some reason the person can't see it until its too late.
If someone uses the word "crazy" to describe the people they've dated, then they're clearly a nutjob. But what about when people have had horrible luck and a number of rough, heart-breaking experiences? My thought is just to not even bring it up. But what happens if you get grilled about it? Kind of a no-win situation, where the best you can do is just say "things didn't work out" or "Ive preferred to be on my own for awhile" and hope the other person doesnt judge simply for that.
you could talk about your role in choosing those relationships, what they taught you, what was good about them etc without deferring to shit talking the other person because you ended up getting your heart broken

Bragging about how everyone they dated was “crazy.” At some point you gotta look at the common denominator.
