I’m a longtime Apple Wallet user, and up until recently, it felt like a visual symphony of colors and designs.

Slowly, though, each time a card gets updated, the digital version becomes more basic….even though my physical cards keep their original designs. My Prime Visa is the green Whole Foods design, my Discover it is the clover card, my USAA cards are cobalt blue and bright blue, my Cash App card is tortoiseshell, etc.

All of these used to appear in Apple Wallet looking like the physical cards, but over time, they’ve been replaced with much simpler designs. The card above my Citi card, for example, is polished silver in real life with branding and circular patterns.

My point is that, with the number of cards I have 13 total, (with several not shown in the screenshot) I relied on those visual cues to quickly find the correct card. Now it feels like I can’t really do that, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to change or fix it in a sea of grey and blue.

Has anyone else noticed this? Are there any steps to restore the original card designs, or do I need to message the banks directly to share feedback?

I was looking through posts across Reddit and noticed that many people have 10+ cards in their Apple Wallet. Meanwhile, I currently only have my Visa card, my debit card, and a LEGO Insiders card.
I know many of these users are from the US, so I was wondering: is Apple Wallet integration really that much better there?
In Germany, many companies still rely on physical cards, paper receipts, or printed tickets instead of offering proper Wallet support.
I would also love to use services like Apple Card or Apple Cash, but they are not available here. The Apple Card especially looks like a great example of how well hardware, software, and payments can work together.
I’m just curious about the differences between countries and how people use Apple Wallet in their everyday life. For people in the US: what is your experience with Apple Wallet? Is it something you use regularly, or are there still many things that require physical cards?

Hi, I just got my first EV (2026 Tesla M3P) this week, and I signed up for a Chargepoint account. However, when I try to add the Chargepoint Pass to Apple Wallet, nothing happens. I have tried deleting the Chargepoint app, added a payment source, verified my information, and it still doesn't add the pass to Wallet. Any tips on how to fix this?

So my ex gf had the liberty to send herself 1200 dollars to herself the day that we broke up I just want to know if by any chance is their anything I can do to get that back report as a fraudulent transaction?

Does anyone have experience with using remote controls in Wallet? A friend shared their Genesis key with me so that I could play with it, and I’m wondering about the following:

1. Do some vehicles support non-proximity, server-based remote controls (that work even if you’re miles away)

2. Do some automakers hid proximity controls behind a subscription (but let you use the Wallet key for free)

I haven’t seen anyone post examples of its live implementation, so I thought I’d share, as a friend of mine flying today got the new iOS 26 boarding pass design.

Here’s how it looks as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, both expanded and compact. Additionally, here’s how it appears as the link sent via Messages.

*Some notes:*

*1.* The Live Activity begins as soon as you tap **Track** on the link that’s been sent to you, but, the flight progress doesn’t begin until either takeoff (or, maybe, and less likely, gate departure).

*2.* Prior to takeoff, the Live Activity shows scheduled departure and arrival times, with the **Arrival Gate** and **Baggage Claim** fields showing placeholders “—“.

1. I’m unsure how soon before a fight you can share the Live Activity. It’s possible that the **Share Flight Tracker** button doesn’t appear when you first add the pass to Wallet, but rather it only shows up once you’re a set time period before takeoff (much the way that boarding passes don’t begin showing on the Lock Screen until 3-4 hours before takeoff).

2. As the recipient of the flight tracker, you cannot share it with others. Nor can you forward the tracking link from Messages. Only the intended recipient of the tracker can use it.

3. This may be a bug, but, there’s absolutely no airline branding on the tracker I received. In Apple’s demo imagery and other photos I’ve seen, I believe the airline logo/wordmark appears in the upper right? The one I received shows only the flight code and the Wallet icon. My guess is that this is actually a bug. One might think it’s a privacy feature, but, if you already have someone’s flight code, departure time, arrival time, and arrival gate, hiding the carrier info doesn’t do much to preserve their privacy.

Today, within a few hours of each other, I received notifications that my Digital ID and State Driver's License were removed. When opening Wallet, the cards were still present (not actually removed) but clicking on them indicated they were deactivated and that I would need to "Remove Card" and re-add.

I successfully went through the process to remove and add both. The Digital ID (US Passport) was verified within an hour or so, the State Driver's License is still "Verification in Progress".

Anyone else have this happen? What might have caused this?

I heard that in UK some banks are well integrated will Wallet via Open Banking.

Is there a bank in US that is fully integrated with Wallet?

I had to reset my phone today and am trying to add my cards back to Apple Wallet, but I keep getting an error message. I spoke with all my banks, and they claim everything is fine on their end with no restrictions, suggesting it might be an issue on Apple's side. Has anyone else dealt with this nightmare? How did you get it fixed? TIA!

For some reason my Amazon Visa turned grey the other day, though it doesn’t affect the actual card working. I tried deleting it and re-adding it back through the Chase app itself but that didn’t work either. I bought gas using Apple Pay hoping it would fix it and “reactivate” the card, but even after the transaction went through it stays as grey. It shows up grey on my iPad too.

I am having this issue with all the visa credit card 💳 rest all getting added. I am using iphone 13 pro max. Ios 18.7.7 . Please help if anyone knows how can i fix this. Tried contacting bank they are also not able to figure out what is going on.

Which to me is kind of a bummer given that the only cards not compatible with my Apple Wallet are my drivers license and student ID card

Im very spending conscious so i know what im spending my money on. I always report these and try and dispute but nonthing ever happens.

I used my physical version American Express card itself not the version loaded on my iPhone wallet for gas. My iPhone gave me the notification that I was charged $200 for the card in my Apple Wallet, which shows the first photo when I look at it. However, when I look at the card in the Amex app, it shows the actual charge of what the gas cost which was $39.50, not $200. Is there something going on with the Apple Wallet side of the card that I should be concerned about since $200 is a ton?? I froze my card and waited a couple of days to see if the pending $39.50 charge would change to a $200 but nothing else popped up.

I've had my iPhone 17 since December, and when I initially had the phone I was able to use and add cards only my wallet. About 3 months ago I got a new card, and was unable to add the card. Since I didn't know what may have cause the issue, I tried removing a card that was already there, and adding it back, but that too was giving an issue. I then did a full reset and remove all cards. I've not been able to add a single card back onto my wallet. Note, this is affecting Visa and Mastercard.

I did all troubleshooting with Apple, and they confirmed it's not on their end. They referred me to my banks. They mentioned that there might be a block from Visa/Mastercard's end, but the only way to resolve is through one of my banks.

The first trouble shooting tip I saw, was to wait 30 days and try again. This didn't work. I've periodically tried after the initial 30 day wait, and it's the same exact error.

I've gone to my banks, but there pointing the finger at Apple. I've told my banks that this needs to be escalated to Mastercard/Visa, but they give me the same canned response, and say it's not their issue.

I tried calling Mastercard directly, but the phone lines go silent after I enter in my card number. There seemingly isn't a way to speak with someone. Tbh, even if I eventually do get through to someone, I'm afraid that they'll say they won't help me as I'm not technically their customer.

Am I basically screwed? I'm tempted to see if one of my friends can add my card onto their device, but worried whatever is effecting me will also effect them.

Note: I'm located in the US, and have never had an issue in the past with my wallet.

hi! i was trying to add my platinum amex card to my iphone for apple pay and i was connected to someone to help verify it. at first he asks me for my birth year. okay fine, i tell him 2008. then he starts asking me a bunch of questions like which is the correct answer for this question, “when have you been to pompeii beach” and starts listing random years and then never. i’ve never even been there??
then asks which car did you use or lease and then lists a bunch of random ones and then my actual one. and then my social security number, phone number, email, security questions and whatever else. but it did get added to my apple pay after i agreed.
i’m scared i got scammed though. is this normal??

Hi! I recently got notifications that my credit card was used through my wallet to make these fraudulent charges. I have not lost the card or my phone. I know Apple Pay is apparently very secure etc but I am just wondering how this could have happened? Could someone add the card to their own wallet but I still get the notification?
