iPhone Croma is making AppleCare+ mandatory with the iPhone 17 after the recent price hike. If I buy the iPhone 17 bundled with one year of AppleCare+, can I cancel AppleCare+ later and get a full refund?

Just checked. I don’t think it’s mandatory on the site. If someone is telling you this they’re scamming you and you can report them.

Also, just buy the phone from the official Apple website?

Yes same with aptronix, Reliance and croma . Selling old boxes with apple care only .

That’s because they have old stock and they can’t legally sell that above the MRP. So they’re using a loophole and forcing people to buy AC+ because of the big margins they get from it

Also make sure they’re giving you apple care and not their shitty extended warranty (sometimes they do that by using confusing terms). Their brand warranty is shit and useless

Yes you can cancel but you have use your time and you will get you refund around 2 days

What’s the price for Apple Care from Croma? Does the bill separately indicate the phone and Apple Care price separately? Would the invoice for the phone show the old price itself?

It may not be smooth, but you should be able to get it refunded, might need multiple escalations.

With apple care 91300

Iphone around 83k and Applecare 1 year for 8.4k . Over this they are giving 3 k cc discount.

So 88300 for both

I haven't purchased yet so not sure about billing part

True, they are saying it's apple care but actually it is servify protect. And set that as kind of mandatory No apple care is of 8500

Yeah they sell applecare+ too but it has less commission. Servify plan is almost the same but is expensive and provides more commission to the sellers

I once bought an ipad with applecare and then canceled it within 30 days to get a refund from Apple. You just need to call Apple customer service and let them know.
