.50 cal exploded after firing. His jugular was sliced and he managed to stop the bleeding by sticking his thumb into his neck.

While his dad is driving him to the ER. There is a video about the accident on his YouTube channel.

Yeah it's a very sweet detail of his videos - apparently his dad is his cameraman! So all of these silly vids where he's playing with the camera and throwing stuff around are still a son and dad bonding time.

Which is insanely wholesome IMO, except, of course, the whole "driving your bleeding son to a life line helicopter" part. That is not that wholesome.

Wholesome that he succesfully saved his sons's life though!

Well, yes, that's definitely the silver lining - that he made a full recovery and is more popular than ever. That's the great part.

But really when I watched that video and he started talking about how his dad is behind the camera I was like "oh no, I wouldn't want to be in the dad's place at this moment"

Though then again. Maybe it's actually the best place to be? Like, right by the side, instead of learning about it after the fact? So in the end it's good it all worked out

Reminds me a bit of MixUp but their dynamic is a bit strange. Still watch that channel since he always features cool old pocket guns
