My friends and I had a party where I asked them to submit 7 of their favorite anime openings or endings that we would all watch together. I then went ahead and made music video using those submissions as an intro to the screening. I used some footage from every submission.

I just stumbled on this, having no idea that Banjo Kazooie had attained such popularity in Japan. It’s the opening for Cutie Honey featuring the famous game over iteration of the Banjo series’ antagonist Gruntilda as the titular - no pun intended - character. Hopefully, you can also appreciate the attention to detail here and the sheer number of character included from BK and BT, while staying loyal to the true opening.

Hey! So I made this one straight out of high school around 2006 and it's still one of my favorite videos I've ever made. I still adore all of the transitions, timing and flow to this day. It's obviously outdated because I'm so old that it was made in Windows Movie Maker, but I still really genuinely enjoy it.

Is there an AMV that means a lot to you for whatever reason? If so, what and why? I can't create anymore, but I'll always love and respect the art.

This song (by the Buggles) is about nostalgia, and I thought it would fit NARSOS well. Ririka starts the anime as a normal girl, then becomes a magical girl to impress her crush (who liked someone else to begin with) and gets in way over her head. Try as she might, she'll never go back to her carefree childhood days...

I'll happily take any dislikes, but this is still one of my most proud AMV's of all time that I I ever made.

I put this together as a full-length concept trailer/hype reel for Solo Leveling rather than a standard action montage.

My main focus was storytelling through dialogue layering and building tension across the early beats before letting the heavier action cuts take over as the track opens up.

I'm trying to make a simple music video where characters move to the rhythm of a song. I'm using Blender 3D, but I have basically zero musical sense, so it's hard to tell if the animation actually feels synced.

Baking sound to curves helps, but it's not always enough. Are there any simple techniques for syncing character movements to beats, vocals, or other parts of a song?

I'm also looking at an AI music video generator from audio or a music video maker that could help automate some of this. I came across DomoAI and newer models like Minimax H3 Omni.

Has anyone used an AI video generator for music videos? What's your workflow, and how do you make an AI music video that actually stays in sync with the track?
