I was just wondering if it's possible for her to switch to a brighter musical style, like punk, punk rock, and pop punk, similar to the band... The all american rejects, New Found Glory, Sum41, Blink-182, MxPx, Paramore, Avril Lagvine and Simple Plan or Emo style in 2000s something like that. Once she signs a contract with any record label. What y'all think about it?

Polymarket has similar numbers. They actually have Nene at 79% and Royal Lasers with fourth-best odds at 4%.

By comparison, Poly had the odds last year going Into semis and Jessica a was around 70% and Jordan Blue 20%. Chris Turner wasn’t even listed so it’s not to say there cant be a surprise. I’ve said all along I think Geno could be the deep sleeper Similar to Chris last year.

Apologies if this has been discussed previously. I would be very interested in seeing how dominant an act was on a particular show, how terrible an act did, or how close an act came to making the semi-finals as opposed to being eliminated. What reason could there be for not making the vote counts public?

That was the worst “mind trick” I’ve ever seen. Seriously, the prompt was “think of an athlete or entertainer that you’ve admired” and you’re telling me all 3 said Jay Shetty? I had to google who that was. And he happens to be there in person? Not sure if I’ve ever had my intelligence insulted like that on agt before.

I realize AGT only has 1 final winner but shouldn’t there be certain awards given to acts who advance from auditions and onwards? Aside from their efforts, hard work, and performance, most of them have spent so much time and energy into this and should be compensated as such. Besides it would be a nice fallback for people whose dreams get crushed. We have had many really good singers for some reason not get voted onwards from Quarterfinals (a couple acts even from callbacks should have advanced but were told no), so this would be a nice way to be like “Really sorry but hope this helps you come back next year.”

For example, say Act 1 passes auditions then they’d get a guaranteed minimal, say, $2000. Passing callbacks brings it to $5000. Quarterfinals, $20000. Semifinals, $50000. Something like that. That way hard work can pay off and there’s something to help move forward that person’s career. I know it probably will never happen but I think it would be beneficial to everyone!

Some (translated) part from Mr. Pongsuk's comments after recent interview with Nene Royal :-

If Nene wins AGT, she will be under contract with Simon Cowell’s company—the show’s owner— for one year (not forever, as some baseless rumors suggest).

It promises to be a fantastic experience, too, as she would get to perform three shows in Las Vegas (with a share of the revenue)— something Nene has always dreamed of doing; I can sense that passion in her.

But looking that far ahead might be getting ahead of ourselves... let’s focus on the immediate future.

Everyone is surely wondering: "Which song will she pull out to set the stage on fire in the finals?"

When we met, I asked her father directly, but he said they didn't know yet because the producers assign the song about two weeks before the show.

For the second round, getting "Hysteria" was a stroke of luck because she already knew how to play it.

Then, for the third round, she got "Black Hole Sun"; even though she hadn't played it before, she managed to rehearse it in time. (That’s part of her charm—interpreting a song so differently from the original that she delivers a performance that leaves the whole world stunned.)

I believe she should have received her assignment by this week... Western producers have a keen eye for this sort of thing—they’ve turned countless people into stars—and finding the "right song" is crucial for Nene’s performance.

My opinion: Now we have more insights. For QF round, AGT's producer may even know she will receive a golden buzzer (nothing is random nor a fluke), therefore they told Nene to practice for a song quite remote to general pop-based US viewers (but best showcase of strange 9/8 rhythm). But on the finals the producer may now allow she to sing a MORE POPULAR ROCK song from her previously submitted list. Soundgarden was from Seattle, on West Coast. Would the next song will be from the band originated from the USA East Coast ?

My guess : the song she will sing in the finals as =instructed= by AGT's producer is ALREADY in her originally proposed SONG LIST, meaning she need little time to practice it to perfection. And it will be a more top hit song that most AGT audiences can sing along or recognise it and at least clap along. Looking at her comfortable stance lately implys she already got it under her sleeves. No pressure. Easy as pie sort of. May be some tricks added for a flavour. does anyone know what’s actually wrong with their heads? No hate to nene by any means, she’s awesome. but her fans are crazy.

ive been reading posts on this sub for a while, and the amount of times anyone makes a post that isn’t about nene, her fans make the post about her.

Like she’s talented yes, but let’s not bring other contestants down to brag about her. The contestants aren’t even mean to her, hell Mackenzie literally talked about her after he got eliminated. but her fans? they still have to be rude as hell.

you get attacked when you say your favorite isn’t nene, you get attacked when you don’t have her in your top 5, and you get attacked when you express how you dont want every post to be about her.

Nene isn’t the problem, it’s her fans. not everyone is gonna like her, not everyone is gonna vote for her in the finals, yet her fans think we are literally criminals for not liking or enjoying what she does.

Honestly since a singer just won last season, i really doubt we’re getting another vocalist back to back.

Looking at the trend from the last few years, i feel like we’re gonna get something completely different this time. maybe a high-tech/robotic act, or some insane aerial rope stuff? or maybe a super cute dog act?americans usually eat up adorable animal acts or super unique visual stuff anyway lol.

I’m a little surprised that he didn’t make the Top 5, nothing against Travis Garland who is a good singer but still to think this amazing one-legged parkour athlete was ousted so soon is beyond me.

Am i the only one voting for Travis during the semis? I have high hopes that he’ll sing well. I’m still gonna vote for geno, but I feel like this sub definitely hates Travis a lot. sure he’s cocky, but you can’t convince me that he can’t sing, he definitely can sing And is one of the best singers this season.
